Teen, 14, Seriously Hurt In Car Vs. Pedestrian Crash Released From Hospital: Police A 14-year-old who was hit by a car last week in Connecticut has been released from the hospital as he continues to heal from his injuries, authorities said.  A car crashed into the teen in Waterbury on Friday, Sept. 27, just before 7:15 p.m. on Watertown Avenue. Police said they were hit while walking in the roadway, but it's unclear if they were in a crosswalk.  The teen's name was not released.  A 75-year-old man, who was driving the car, and his 73-year-old female passenger were not injured in the crash, Watertown police said.  The crash remains under investigation,…

Girl Threatened To 'Shoot Up CT High School: Police A Connecticut teenager who said she would shoot up her high school in a social media message was busted hours after making the threat, authorities said.  The FBI contacted administrators in Fairfield County at Stamford High School around 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, after intercepting a message on the social media app Snapchat, Stamford Police said.  In the message, a girl wrote she would "shoot up the school." Connecticut 17-Year-Old Killed In Western Mass. Crash A Connecticut teenager was killed in a Western Massachusetts crash on Sunday, July 28, authorities said.  The 17-year-old girl, from Enfield in Hartford County who was not identified, died just after the 2 p.m. wreck on North Blandford Road in the town of Blandford, the Hampden District Attorney's Office said.  Blandford is about 45 minutes west of Springfield.  Authorities have not released details about what led to the crash or how many vehicles were involved.
