2 Hit While Changing Tire On Route 2; 1 Seriously Wounded In Crash A car crashed into two people parked on the shoulder of a Connecticut highway changing a tire, sending them both to the hospital, authorities said.  The crash was reported on Route 2 in Norwich just before 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, Connecticut State Police said.  Two 29-year-olds from Rhode Island were stopped on the right shoulder of the eastbound lane tending to their vehicle when a 2005 Nissan Altima crashed into them, police said.  Both were taken to the hospital, with one suffering serious injuries in the crash.  State Police urge anyone who witnessed the cra…
