Man Hit, Killed Running Across I-95 In West Haven ID'd As 41-Year-Old A 41-year-old man was struck and killed while attempting to run across Interstate 95 in West Haven early Thursday morning, police said. Suniel Michael Ross, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, died after being hit in the center median of I-95 near Exit 43 just before 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15, according to Connecticut State Police. CT Child, 8, Struck By Vehicle A child struck by a car in Connecticut escaped without injury. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 8:50 a.m., Tuesday, May 28, on Hall Avenue. According to Sgt. Michale Boothroyd of the Meriden Police, an officer, responded to the area and found an 8-year-old child had been struck but was showing no apparent signs of injury but did complain of pain.
