MTA To Increase New Haven Line Service To, From Yankee Stadium During World Series If you're hoping to catch a train to watch the Yankees face off against the Dodgers on their home field, the MTA is adding service to and from the stadium to make your trip a bit easier. In an announcement on Friday, Oct. 25, MTA officials said Metro-North Railroad would implement extra services on the Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven lines during the World Series games at Yankee Stadium on Monday, Oct. 28 (Game 3), Tuesday, Oct. 29 (Game 4), and if necessary, Wednesday, Oct. 30 (Game 5).  Officials detailed the following extra services for each line: Hudson Line:   Eight tra…

Earlier report - New Canaan HS Student-Athlete Elliott Kropf Dies Suddenly Elliott Kropf, a New Canaan High School senior and hockey player, was struck and killed by a train on Saturday, Sept. 14,  a Metro-North spokesperson tells Daily Voice.
