Masked Gunman Carjacks CT Delivery Van Packed with Christmas Gifts A Connecticut delivery driver’s routine evening turned into a terrifying ordeal when they were carjacked at gunpoint, authorities said. The carjacking happened around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, in the 200 block of Woodrow Ave. in Fairfield’s Southport neighborhood. The thief got away with several Christmas presents intended for area residents. The victim told investigators that a masked man climbed through the passenger door, threatened the driver with a gun, and then drove off with the truck, Fairfield police said.
