Bicyclist, 24, Killed After Crash With Garbage Truck
A 24-year-old Connecticut man was killed early Thursday morning, Oct. 17, after being hit by a garbage truck in New Haven County, authorities said. Police responded to the crash a little after 2 a.m. at the Church Street and North Frontage Road intersection in New Haven. Officers found the 24-year-old New Haven man with life-threatening injuries, and paramedics rushed him to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he died of his wounds.
