Blain was struck by a Ford Fusion around 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, according to Connecticut State Police. Paramedics transported him to Day Kimball Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. CT 31-Year-Old Dies After Crashing Into Guardrail A Connecticut man was killed after crashing his vehicle into a guardrail. The incident occurred in Litchfield County at 5 p.m., Aug. 12, in New Hartford. According to the Connecticut State Police, a Hartford County man, identified as Robert Holcomb, age 31, of Farmington, was found by troopers suffering from severe injuries on westbound Route 44. He was rushed by ambulance to Winsted Health Center in Winsted, where he was pronounced dead, state police said.
