The girl was sitting in a car parked outside a North Chestnut Street home in the Wauregan section of Plainfield around 4:15 a.m. on New Year's Day when the men approached her, police said. CT Man Nabbed Breaking Into Shop After Chase A Connecticut man is behind bars after allegedly being caught inside burglarizing a smoke shop. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 10 p.m., Tuesday, June 18, at the LVL Up Smoke Shop in Meriden. According to Lt. Darrin McKay of the Meriden Police, a patrol officer responded to the store after receiving a burglar alarm notice.
