CT Man Who Sexually Assaulted 8-Year-Old Gets 5 Years Behind Bars: State A judge has sentenced a 37-year-old Connecticut man to spend five years behind bars after a jury found him guilty of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old, authorities said.  Justin Rowen, of Portland, was convicted of risk of injury to a minor and sexual assault in the fourth degree in September, the Office of State's Attorney said.  A judge sentenced him this week to 10 years in prison, but that will be suspended after five, the prosecutor said. He must also serve 10 years of probation after his release.  Prosecutors said the assault happened in the fall of 2022.
