Prominent Musician Who Worked With KISS Dies After Mom, 90, Crashes Car In New Jersey: Police A 61-year-old musician who worked with KISS, died on Wednesday, Feb. 19 after his 90-year-old mother crashed a car into a tree in Bridgewater, authorities said. Fatal Crash: 38-Year-Old Found By Guardrail With Leg Injury In CT A bicyclist died in the hospital after being found injured next to a guardrail following a crash in Connecticut, police announced.  The events leading to the man's death began in Tolland County on Sunday, July 21 around 1 p.m., when a passerby saw an unattended bicycle against a guardrail at 667 Wall St. (Route 316) in Hebron.  According to Connecticut State Police, the passerby then saw a man next to the guardrail almost into the woods with a severe leg injury. Body Of 14-Year-Old Found At Western Mass Pond; Presumed Drowned Police are investigating after a 14-year-old was found unresponsive at Benedict Pond in Berkshire County, authorities said.  Great Barrington police were called to the Beartown State Forest recreation area just before 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, after the child was found unresponsive in the water, officials said. Police and witnesses pulled the child from the water and began CPR immediately.  Responders rushed the teen to Fairview Hospital, but doctors were unable to save their life.  The child's name was not released.  Police are investigating the circumst…

Building Closed In CT After Grenade-Like Device Found A Connecticut public works facility is temporarily closed after a grenade-like object was found in the entrance roadway. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 9, on North Division Street in Ansonia. According to Ansonia Public Works, public works employees found the object in the grass along the entrance road to the complex. Ansonia Fire Marshall Darrick Lundeen assisted in the investigation, and the Connecticut State Police are currently assessing the object, the department said.
