The first United Airlines flight from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Dominica landed on Saturday, Feb. 15. The plane arrived at Douglas-Charles Airport (DOM), marking the start of weekly Saturday service between New Jersey and the country in the Lesser Antilles. A soundbite from a Boston-bound flight briefly diverted to a Virginia airport over the weekend due to a customer experiencing a medical issue has been released. And it's not pretty.
