Two young men face arson charges after allegedly setting fire to debris inside a Connecticut shopping plaza, causing an estimated $400,000 in damage, police said.
Samuel Archer, 19, of Plymouth, Massachusetts, and Henry Hirsch, 20, of Ridgefield, are accused of deliberately lighting dry leaves on fire inside the stairwell at Heritage Square Plaza in Fairfield on Dec. 7, authorities said.

A jury convicted a Massachusetts man of the brutal quadruple murder of his cousin's wife and her three young children at their Worcester County home, prosecutors said.
Matthew Locke, 38, formerly of Ware, was found guilty of four counts of first-degree murder in the slayings of Sara Bermudez, 38, Madison Bermudez, 8, James Bermudez, 6, and Michael Bermudez, 2, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said.
Locke, a cousin of Moses Bermudez, committed the March 1, 2018, murders while Moses was out of town in California, authorities said.

A 27-year-old Connecticut man is facing arson charges after police say he started a fire at his home earlier this year, causing a massive police and firefighter response, authorities said.
Former Middlesex County resident James Jones, 27, of East Hampton, was arrested last month after investigators linked him to a house fire on March 19, East Hampton Police said.
