64-Year-Old Man Killed At Work After Heavy Machinery Crashes Into Him
Police in Fairfield County and federal authorities are investigating the death of a 64-year-old worker at a business Wednesday morning, Oct. 30, after a piece of heavy machinery hit him, authorities said. The Stamford victim, who police did not name, was assisting a customer at the business around 8:15 a.m. when a 28-year-old Stamford front-end loader driver slammed into him, authorities said. Arsonist Torches $1M Worth Of Vehicles In Secluded Construction Yard
Connecticut State Police are asking for the public's help to track down an arsonist who caused $1 million in damages after they torched construction equipment in Hartford County. Hammonasset Construction told police that someone set ablaze several vehicles parked in a secluded construction yard near exit 39A on I-84 in Farmington, authorities said.
