A local man was found dead in the Aspetuck River after police were notified of a submerged vehicle in Fairfield County. The incident occurred in the town of Fairfield around 12:40 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 22. According to Fairfield Police Sgt. Three teens were nabbed for an alleged armed robbery after a police pursuit, crash, and foot chase in Fairfield County. The arrests occurred in Westport around 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18. Two people are in critical condition after a vehicle veered off the roadway in Fairfield County and hit two pedestrians on a sidewalk. The incident occurred in Westport around 6:45 p.m. on Imperial Avenue near Post Road East.
