Propane Tanks Explode Inside Box Truck In CT, Injuring 2 Two people were injured when propane tanks exploded in a box truck, Connecticut State Police said.  The incident happened Friday night, Feb. 28, just after 9 p.m. at the Conantville Road and Overlook Drive intersection in Mansfield.  One of the injured was air-lifted to a Rhode Island burn ward for second-degree burns while the other was rushed to an area hospital. Fire, Explosion Destroys 125-Year-Old Historic CT Golf Club A late-night fire that caused an explosion at a Connecticut golf course in Fairfield County is under investigation, authorities said.  The fire was reported late Friday night, Nov. 15, at  Highland Golf Club in Shelton, the fire department there said.  The call came in around 11:30 p.m. and firefighters could see a "large orange glow" from a far distance as they made their way to the 261 Wooster St. 125-year-old golf course.  Several propane tanks were boiling when firefighters arrived, and despite efforts to cool them down, one exploded and sent shrapnel flying hu…
