Family and friends of a Connecticut man who was killed last week in a shooting have rallied to help pay for his funeral. Dante Sprouse, 25, of East Hartford, was shot and killed following reports of a burglary on Kelsey Street and a crash on Thursday morning, Sept. 12, NBC Connecticut reports. IDs Released For 5 Family Members Killed In Murder-Suicide In Quiet Suburban NY Neighborhood
The identities have been released for five family members who were killed in a murder-suicide in a residential Long Island community. The incident happened just before noon on Sunday, Aug. 25 at a residence on a cul-de-sac in Syosset. Nassau County Police say officers who responded to the residence on 76 Wyoming Court for a report of shots fired discovered a man outside the home who "sustained an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound." A beloved Fairfield County school custodian suffered "an unimaginable loss" when nine members of his family died in a car crash in central Florida.
