A Connecticut woman accused of promising to train a dog for a family, allowing it to die under her care, lying to the owners, and leaving it on the side of the road has been arrested a year after the alleged incident, authorities said.

A 65-year-old Connecticut man has been charged with allegedly attempting to have sex with a dog who belonged to a woman at a senior living facility.
Hartford County resident Jose Ramos-Cordero, of New Britain, was arrested by the Farmington Police Department on Monday, Sept. 9, and charged with sexual assault of an animal, burglary, and disorderly conduct.

Middlesex County Man Accused Setting His Home On Fire
A 27-year-old Connecticut man is facing arson charges after police say he started a fire at his home earlier this year, causing a massive police and firefighter response, authorities said.
Former Middlesex County resident James Jones, 27, of East Hampton, was arrested last month after investigators linked him to a house fire on March 19, East Hampton Police said.
Police, paramedics, and firefighters were called to a two-alarm fire at 46 School House Lane on Tuesday, March 19.
