ID Released For 2nd Victim In Double-Fatal, Wrong-Way Crash Involving CT State Representative
Connecticut State Police have released the identity of the second victim in a wrong-way, double-fatal crash involving a popular state representative.
The crash took place on Route 9 in Middlesex County around 12:30 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 5, on Route 9 South near Exit 18 in Cromwell.
According to state police, the crash took place when State Representative Quentin "Q" Williams, age 39, of Middletown, was traveling south on Route 9 when he was hit head-on by a wrong-way driver identified as Katie Kimeda Mustafj, age 27, of Manchester.

CT State Police Investigate Serious Wrong-Way Crash With Injury
Two people suffered serious injuries after being involved in a wrong-way crash in Connecticut, state police said.
The crash happened in New Haven County shortly after midnight on Tuesday, April 19, in Meriden.
Litchfield County resident James Steinhardt, age 24, of New Milford, was traveling east on I-691 west of exit 5 when he was struck by Cromwell (Middlesex County) resident Christopher Meza, age 34, who was driving the wrong way in the eastbound lanes in New Haven County.
According to police, one of the vehicles rolled over in the crash, though it is unclear which driver was involved. …

Two men were killed, one on his birthday, during a wrong-way crash in Connecticut.
It happened around 8:45 p.m., Saturday, April 9, on Route 6 Windham County in the town of Hampton, said the Connecticut State Police.
Tolland County resident Jeffrey Wayne Goulart, age 28, of the town of Hebron, was killed after driving his Subaru the wrong way on Route 6, slamming into a Ford Escape driven by a 16-year-old head-on, and then hit a Hyundai Elantra on the passenger side before it traveled off the roadway, state police said.

Two drivers were killed in a wrong-way, head-on crash in Connecticut.
It happened at about 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, on I-91 in New Haven County.
A 2020 Toyota Camry XLE was going the wrong way, traveling south in the northbound lanes of the highway between Exit 17 and Exit 18 in Meriden, when it collided with a northbound 2012 BMW X5 Xdrive35i, according to Connecticut State Police.
Police said the weather was clear at the time and traffic was light.
