Police Searching For Hit-Run Driver Who Left Man In Critical Condition In Norwich A 66-year-old Connecticut man remains in critical essential after a car crashed into him in New London County and sped away, authorities said.  Norwich Police said they received a 911 call around 5:25 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, about the crash at 655 East Main St. They found the main with serious wounds to his head and chest, but the car that hit him was long gone.  Paramedics rushed the man to William W. Street Racers May Have Caused I-84 Multi-Car Crash, Police Say Connecticut State Police report a multi-vehicle crash on I-84 was likely caused by street racers. The crash occurred around 10 p.m., Monday, July 1, on I-84 between Exits 68 and 69 in Tolland. According to State Police, responding troopers located an extensive debris field and one vehicle that had rolled during the crash. State Police said troopers investigating the crash believe the crash was caused by several vehicles "driving recklessly" and also "slow rolling the highway" before racing each other. Woman Injured In Road-Rage Incident, CT State Police Say Connecticut State Police are asking the public for witnesses to a case of road rage in which a woman was injured. The incident took place around 8:45 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 14, on Route 8 near Exit 21 in Seymour in New Haven County. According to State Police, a woman driving a 2008 Hyundai Santa FE with a Massachusetts license plate got into the road rage incident with a person driving a gray-colored sedan with a Connecticut license plate with the numbers of "803."
