CT Woman, 37, Found Dead Floating In Quinnipiac River Police in Connecticut are investigating after a 37-year-old woman's body was found dead floating in the water of the Quinnipiac River. New Haven Police Officer Christian Bruckhart said the incident occurred in New Haven around 7:50 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 10, near Brewery Square. Bruckhart said the New Haven Fire Department responded with water rescue, and the body was located near James Street and River Streets along the embankment. Man Missing In Water Rescued By Fairfield County Police A Fairfield County man was rescued from the water by police after he was reported missing. The incident took place around 6 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 9, in Westport, said Lt.
