Police have identified two 25-year-olds killed while crossing a street, and the hit-and-run driver involved in the incident in Fairfield County. The two were killed in Stamford around 2 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 3 at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Main Street. Person Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries In Hit-Run Fairfield County Crash
A Fairfield County man is in critical condition after being struck by a hit-and-run driver. The incident took place in Stamford around 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 13 on Tresser Boulevard at Washington Boulevard. The pedestrian, a 52-year-old Stamford resident, was crossing Tresser Boulevard walking northbound when he was struck by a vehicle that was traveling westbound on Tresser Boulevard, said Sgt. An indoor mask mandate is being put back in effect in Connecticut’s second-largest city. With the number of COVID-19 cases surging, and variants on the rise, Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons announced that she will be implementing a city-wide indoor mask mandate. A teen was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle while crossing a street in Fairfield County.
