DNA Drive Event May Help ID Remains Found In CT
In an effort to help identify human remains that have been found in Connecticut, a “DNA Drive” has been planned, police said.
The DNA donation event, which will take place in New Haven County, is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 16, according to the Connecticut State Police.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day at the University of New Haven, located at 300 Boston Post Road in West Haven, any person who has a missing loved one is encouraged to attend.

Sporting blue hair and a wide smile, a popular science teacher has been named Connecticut's 2023 Teacher of the Year.
Carolyn Kielma, a science teacher at Bristol Eastern High School in Hartford County, was surprised by Gov. Ned Lamont on Thursday, Oct. 6, with a visit to the high school, which was followed by a schoolwide assembly celebrating the recognition with fellow educators, family, and students.
