New CT Street Takeover Bust: Juvenile Arrested In Connection With Racing Incident
State police have nabbed a juvenile who they believe was part of a "street takeover" event in Connection.
The juvenile, who is under the age of 18, was arrested on Tuesday, June 6 in connection with a Tolland County street racing incident, or "street takeover," that happened in the town of Tolland on Sunday, May 21.
On the night of the incident, a group of racers and spectators gathered to race cars, perform burnouts, set off fireworks, and more, according to officials.

Woman, Man Become Combative With Troopers After Burglary In CT, Police Say
A woman and man are facing charges after a burglary and fight with officers in Connecticut.
At around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 24, troopers from Troop C in Tolland responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked behind a residence on Middle Turnpike, in Mansfield.
The reporting party advised Troop C that the residence was known to be unoccupied for an extended period of time, state police said.
