6-Year-Old Dies After Baseball Bat Attack: Police A 6-year-old boy who was beaten into critical condition along with his 4-year-old sibling and mother has died, authorities announced on Wednesday, Oct. 2.  The attack happened at a Fairfield County apartment in the 2400 block of Main St. in Bridgeport on Wednesday, Sept. 25, authorities said.
