Police in Fairfield County are asking the public for help identifying two men who allegedly broke into a liquor store and made off with liquor and cigarettes. The incident took place in Stamford at Wagon Wheel Liquors on Long Ridge Road around 4:20 a.m., on Monday, May 29. According to Stamford Police Sgt. Sean Scanlan, the two men broke the glass on the front door and made entry taking liquor and cigarettes. The loss of items and damage was over $5,000. Know Them? Duo Wanted In Fairfield County For Stealing From Store, Police Say
Police in Fairfield County are asking the public for help identifying two men wanted in connection with the theft of eight car batteries from an auto parts store. The incident took place in Stamford around 5:30 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 3 at the Advanced Auto store. Sgt. Sean Scanlan said the two men walked out of the store with eight car batteries valued at more than $2,000. Anyone with information is asked to contact 203-977- 4407.

Police in Fairfield County are asking the public for help identifying a man they believe may be involved in two fires. Sgt. Sean Scanlan, of the Stamford Police, said the department is working to identify the man who was caught on surveillance near two fires on Thursday, Sept. 29. A third fire on West Avenue around 11 a.m. Thursday is not believed to be a suspected arson, police said. 14-Year-Old Accused Of Igniting Car Fire In Fairfield County
A 14-year-old boy has been apprehended for starting a car fire in Fairfield County with stolen fireworks. The fire took place in Stamford on Sunday, June 5, in the parking lot of 587 Elm St. According to Sgt. Sean Scanlan, of the Stamford Police, firefighters responded to the scene and found a 2008 Honda SUV on fire. After the fire was extinguished and investigators began looking into the cause of the blaze.
