21-Year-Old CT Man Convicted Of Attempted Rape Of 13-Year-Old A 21-year-old Connecticut man who was apprehended after driving to the Hudson Valley for what he thought would be sex with a 13-year-old child has been found guilty, officials announced.  The conviction of Fairfield County resident Francisco Gomez of Norwalk for attempted rape was announced on Wednesday, Aug. 28 by Putnam County District Attorney Robert Tendy.  According to Tendy's office, Gomez used social media to entice a 13-year-old child from Putnam County to engage in sexual activity with him. CT Sex Offender Charged With Failing To Report Address 5 Times A Connecticut sex offender is behind bars after allegedly failing to report his address five times. Hartford County resident Thomas L. Laudenslager, age 33, of South Windsor, was charged on Wednesday, Nov. 17 on an active warrant. According to Lt. Mark Cleverdon of the South Windsor Police, Laudenslager failed to verify his address on five separate occasions in 2022 and 2023 with the state as required by law. Laudenslager turned himself in to the police and was processed and held on a $50,000 surety bond.
