Second Suspect Charged For Shooting Death Of Man In Fairfield County
Police have arrested a Fairfield County man in connection with the alleged killing of a Connecticut man who was gunned down during a robbery of $130 and cellphones.
James Howard, 28, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 7, in connection with the Saturday, Aug. 13 murder of New Haven County resident Troy Walker, age 21, of Ansonia, on Knowlton Street.
According to Capt. Kevin Gilleran, Howard with was charged with felony murder and robbery for his role in the homicide, which also wounded two others.

Man Extradited From Hawaii For CT Homicide
More than 11 years after the crime, a suspect is facing charges for his involvement in the 2011 murder of a Connecticut man.
Andrew Spino, age 34, was extradited from Hawaii, where he was in jail on unrelated charges, by US Marshals to New Haven County in connection with the March 2011 murder of Isaia Hernandez in Ansonia.
The investigation into the homicide of Hernandez began on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at 6:10 p.m., when the Ansonia Police Department received a complaint of a person shot in front of the Xtra Mart on Wakelee Avenue, said Lt. Patrick Lynch of the Ansonia Police.

Risk Of Kidnappings, Violent Crime Prompts US State Department To Issue Mexico Travel Advisory
A new travel advisory has been issued for Americans who may be planning on heading to Mexico, warning them of "violent crime and kidnapping.”
The US State Department advisory comes after incidents of vandalism, looting, and other crimes in the northern part of the Mexican state of Baja California, including the city of Tijuana, along the southern-most border of California.

Man, Woman Wanted In Connection To Robbery In Fairfield County
Police in Fairfield County secured arrest warrants for an out-of-state couple who are wanted for a robbery in the area in which a gun was displayed.
The incidents took place in Greenwich on Saturday, June 25 at 115 Mason St.
The two suspects sought by police are originally from the New Orleans area, Greenwich Police said.
The warrants were issued for Lamoine Ward, of La Place, Lousiana, and Kristen McKenzie, of Metairie, Lousiana, who are facing charges of robbery, assault, and larceny, police said.
