Fairfield County Bank Robber Caught Shortly After Crime, Police Say
A man was nabbed for an alleged robbery of a TD bank in Fairfield County.
Richard Davila, age 59, of Stratford, was arrested for the robbery which took place around 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 17, in Bridgeport, said Detective Jeffrey A. Holtz, of the Bridgeport Police Department.
According to Holtz, at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers rapidly responded to a panic alarm at the TD Bank branch at 4865 Main St. at the intersection with Old Town Road.

Suspect Nabbed For Robbery At Barnes & Noble In Fairfield County
A Fairfield County has been arrested in connection with an alleged robbery at an area book store.
Michael Larocco, age 37, of Stamford, was arrested on Sunday, Oct. 10, for the robbery that took place a day earlier.
According to Captain Richard Conklin, of the Stamford Police, Larocco walked into the Barnes and Noble at the Stamford Town Mall and slipped a note to the cashier asking for money.
The note stated he had a gun, and demanded the cashier turn over $100, Conklin said.

A Fairfield County gang member pleaded guilty to racketeering offenses stemming from murder and other violent crimes.
Tyiese Warren, also known as “Loose Screw,” age 21, of Bridgeport, pleaded guilty on Monday, Oct. 25 to the crimes he committed as a member of a Bridgeport gang, said Leonard C Boyle, acting US Attorney for the District of Connecticut.

A Connecticut man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for narcotics distribution and firearm possession offenses.
Kendall Jones, age 32, of Hartford, was sentenced on Tuesday, Sept. 28, after pleading guilty to the crimes in April, said Leonard C Boyle, acting US Attorney for the District of Connecticut.

Cash, Dirt Bike Stolen In Separate Incidents To Sell Items In Fairfield County
Police in one Fairfield County city are warning residents to be careful where they conduct personal sales after one person was robbed of cash and a dirt bike was stolen in another.
The incident both took place on Monday, Sept. 27, in Bridgeport, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management.
The first theft took place around 4:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Trumbull Avenue when a man told Bridgeport police that he was supposed to meet two men to purchase a vehicle.
