36-Year-Old Killed In Crash After Hitting Motorcycle Lying In Roadway A 36-year-old Connecticut man was killed after hitting another vehicle that had crashed. It happened in Hartford County around 10:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 3 in Wethersfield. According to Connecticut State Police, Taj Andre Beckford, of Bloomfield, was driving a Suzuki motorcycle northbound on Route 5/15 just north of the on-ramp for Route 314 when he hit another motorcycle lying in the roadway, but not the driver identified as Jordan Barnes, age 20, of Newington.
