Norwalk Man Busted In Wilton For Driving Recklessly In School Lot, Pursuit, Police Say
A Fairfield County man was busted for allegedly driving recklessly through an elementary school parking lot and then taking police on a pursuit. Jared Taylor, age 40 of Norwalk was arrested Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, for that incident that occurred in October 2023 in Monroe. A 22-year-old Connecticut man faces several charges after passing an officer at a speed fast enough to make her cruiser shake before then driving through two red lights in front of her, police announced. Man Nabbed Driving Mercedes 120 MPH On I-95 In CT, Police Say
A 26-year-old man was charged with alleged reckless driving after he was clocked going 120 mph in a Mercedes -Benz on I-95 in Connecticut. New York resident Zhicheng Wu, of Flushing, Queens, was stopped in Middlesex County around 1 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20 in the area of Westbrook. Connecticut State Troopers spotted Wu passing traffic at a high rate and clocked him at speeds of 120 mph in a 65 mph zone, the department said. A 31-year-old Fairfield County woman was stopped by Connecticut State Police driving 125 mph in a 55 mph zone. The incident took place in Greenwich on I-95 near Exit 4 around 12:15 a.m., Friday, Dec. 15. A 20-year-old man accused of causing a single-car crash in Fairfield County has surrendered to police more than a month later. The wreck happened Sunday, Sept. 3, in Darien on Hollow Tree Ridge Road near Allwood Road, according to Darien Police.
