Four people were seriously injured after a car struck two houses and landed on top of another vehicle in Fairfield County. The incident place in Bridgeport around 10:20 p.m., Saturday, July 15, in the 900 block of Chopsey Hill Road. Police are investigating after receiving reports of shots fired and the discovery of shell casings and property damage in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Norwalk during the evening hours of Sunday, July 16, in the 100 block of Suncrest Road. Samsung issued the recall of "Top-Load Washing Machines" on Thursday, Dec. 22, because the products could short-circuit and overheat. The blaze broke out in the Town of Fairfield around 5:10 a.m., Tuesday, May 3 at the home located at 577 Kings Highway East.
