Man Crashes Into Multiple Vehicles, Including Cruiser After Shooting, CT State Police Say A 63-year-old Connecticut man was arrested after authorities said he was involved in a shooting and then crashed into multiple vehicles, including a police cruiser, during a pursuit. Hartford County resident William Ramos Sr., of New Britain, was arrested following an investigation into a shooting on Friday, Nov. 26, in Manchester. A 56-year-old woman came into the lobby of the police department with a gunshot wound to her hand at about 9 p.m. on Friday, the Manchester Police Department reported. Officer Pinned Between Stolen Car, Police Cruiser During CT Pursuit A Connecticut police officer suffered serious injuries after being pinned between a stolen car and a police cruiser during a pursuit. The incident took place around 12:50 a.m., Monday, Sept. 20, in Hartford County when a Farmington Police officer was responding to a report of a theft of a vehicle on Notch Road.
