Man Shot After Gunman Fires Wildly In Norwich Neighborhood, Hitting Home, Car A Connecticut man was shot in the upper body Sunday night, Oct. 6, after someone wildly fired a gun in a New London County neighborhood, shooting a house and a car in the process, authorities said.  Police were called to McKinley Avenue near Warren Street in Norwich around 8 p.m., authorities said.  When Norwich Police arrived at the scene, they found the man with a bullet wound, the damaged property, and evidence someone had fired several shots. CT Bank Robbery Suspect Nabbed After Pursuit, Police Say A bank robbery suspect has been apprehended after a pursuit in Connecticut. Around 3:40 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, the Connecticut State Police in New London County Troop E Montville barracks was notified of an alarm at the Jewett City Savings Bank, located at 353 Route 165 in the Town of Preston.
