27-Year-Old Woman Found Dead In CT Apartment, Police Say A 27-year-old woman was found dead inside a Connecticut apartment after police found family members trying to check on a relative. The incident took place in Hartford County around 4 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 1 in New Britain. According to New Britain Deputy Police Chief Adam Rembisz, an officer traveling in the area found the young woman unresponsive inside the apartment after learning family members came to 157 Fairview St., trying to check on her. Woman Struck, Killed By CT Police Cruiser A woman has been hit and killed by a Connecticut police cruiser while attempting to cross a roadway. The incident took place in Hartford County in New Britain on West Main Street around 1:10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 21. According to Connecticut State Police, a 2017 Ford Police Interceptor Utility, operated by a New Britain Police Officer, was traveling westbound on West Main Street in the City of New Britain when a woman attempted to cross the roadway.
