The great cow escape occurred in Trumbull around 10 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 7 near Old Town Road and Reservoir Avenue. The cow was bought earlier in the day at an auction by an area resident, said Lt. Woman's Quick Actions Save Drowning Child In Fairfield County, Police Say A Fairfield County woman is credited with saving the life of a child after she pulled the girl from a community swimming pool. The incident took place in Trumbull at the Ten Apartments, 100 Oakview Drive on Thursday, June 9. The victim, a 5-year-old Trumbull girl, was found unresponsive in the water at about 6 p.m. and was pulled out of the water, said Lt.
