Duo Nabbed After Causing Fight In Bridgeport Bar, Police Say Two Fairfield County men were charged with trespass and assault after allegedly starting a fight at a crowded bar. Bridgeport resident Juan Torres, age 35, and Newtown resident Alexander Rosa, age 41, were arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 24, following the fight at the Rum & Tequila Bar in Bridgeport. Police Seeking Help After Woman Found On Roadway With Serious Injuries In Bridgeport Police are asking the public for help identifying a vehicle that may have hit a woman found lying on the ground at an intersection in Fairfield County with serious injuries. Bridgeport Police received several calls around 10:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14 regarding a woman lying at the intersection of Stratford Avenue and Bishop Avenue. The 54-year-old Bridgeport resident was found lying on the ground at the intersection, said Capt. Lonnie Blackwell of the Bridgeport Police.
