Man Killed In 'Tragic' ATV Accident In CT, Police Say A Connecticut man was killed during what police are calling a "tragic" accident on an ATV. The crash took place in Litchfield County around 6:20 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 1 in the area of Hancock Court in Plymouth. Plymouth Police responded to the area after receiving a report of a medical emergency, the police department said. Upon arrival, a man in his 60’s was found to be involved in an ATV accident. The thefts took place in Litchfield County sometime overnight on Monday, Jan. 9, in Torrington. The Torrington School District said on its website that school had to be delayed for up to two hours due to the thefts. The district did not say how many converters were stolen, or how soon the buses would be repaired. An investigation is ongoing by the Torrington Police Department.
