14-Year-Old ID'd As Victim Killed After SUV Hit Groton Tree; 3 More Still In Critical Condition A 14-year-old Connecticut boy who was in an SUV that crashed into a tree in New London County early Monday morning, Oct. 14, has died, police said. Lacrosse Players Remain Hospitalized Days After Practice With Navy SEAL Trainee Several members of a Massachusetts university lacrosse team are hospitalized after falling ill with a rare muscle-destroying illness after a practice with a Navy SEAL trainee.  Twelve members of the Tufts University men's lacrosse team were taken to an area hospital and treated for rhabdomyolysis, according to the school's spokesperson. 19-Year-Old College Lacrosse Player From NY Remembered For His 'Infectious Smile' A college lacrosse player from the region who died suddenly over the Memorial Day weekend is being remembered for his "infectious smile," and his love of his family and friends. Long Island resident Aidan James Kaminska, age 19, of Port Jefferson, died unexpectedly on the morning of Monday, May 30, according to his obituary.
