Trader Joe's is recalling Infinite Herbs-brand organic basil that was sold across the country in 2.5-ounce clamshell packaging due to concerns of Salmonella contamination. 1.75 Million Travel Steam Irons Part Of Expanded Recall For Fire, Burn, Shock Hazards
Federal authorities announced that a recall initially reported in May has been expanded to include an additional 1.7 million travel irons after there were new reports of injuries. Kansas-based Vornado announced that it is now recalling upwards of two million Steamfast Home and Away Travel Steam Irons due to fire, burn, and shock hazards due to a faulty power cord. According to the company, the cord can become damaged, leading to possible overheating, which then poses fire and burn risks. Walmart Recalls Air Freshener Due To Dangerous Bacteria Linked To Two Deaths
Walmart has recalled about 3,900 bottles of room spray products due to the possible presence of a dangerous bacteria linked to two deaths in the United States. The recall was issued after tests by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) determined that a bottle of the "Better Homes and Gardens Essential Oil Infused Aromatherapy Room Spray with Gemstones" contained rare bacteria, Burkholderia pseudomallei, according to a report from the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission.
