CT Overdose Death, Stabbing May Be Connected To Large Fight, Police Say
Police in Connecticut are working to connect a large fight to the overdose death of a woman and a man who was stabbed multiple times. The incidents took place in New Haven around 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21 when the New Haven Fire Department responded to a call of an unconscious woman in the 300 block of Howard Avenue. Upon arrival, fire department personnel determined that the woman was suffering from an overdose. A 13-year-old girl was shot in front of a large Connecticut hospital during what police are calling a gunfight between the occupants of two vehicles. The incident took place in New Haven around 2:30 a.m., Sunday, July 30 in front of Yale New Haven Hospital. Detectives have determined that the shooting was not a deliberate attack on the hospital or its personnel, said Capt. Rose Dell, of the New Haven Police. Man Fires Gun At Teen After Catching Him In His Car In New Haven, Police Say
A New Haven man who works as a school security guard has been arrested for allegedly firing a gun at a 14-year-old after catching two juveniles in his vehicle. The incident took place in New Haven around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22 on Hallock Avenue. When officers responded to a report of gunfire they located Tiquentes Graybrown, age unknown, in front of his New Haven home, armed with a handgun, said New Haven Police Capt. Rose Bell.
