Norwalk Woman Lights Car On Fire At Stamford Gas Station, Police Say A Fairfield County woman was charged with arson after allegedly setting gasoline that leaked out of her Nissan Cube on fire at a gas station and then walking away.  Paola Monsalve, age 28, of Norwalk was charged in Stamford on Sunday, Dec. 31 around 8:30 p.m. at the Shell station at the corner of Hope and Church streets. Sgt. Damein Rosa of the Stamford Police said the incident started when she left her car while gas was pumping and going inside the store.  When she back out, gasoline had run over and was puddling under the car and still running out, Rosa said. The operation took place in Stamford on Thursday, Oct. 20. According to Stamford Police Assistant Chief Richard Conklin, the department NARC and Organized Crime Unit teamed up with the state Department of Mental Health and Addiction after receiving numerous complaints from parents and residents of underage sales. Fairfield County 15-Year-Old Charged With Shooting Another Teen, Police Say A 15-year-old from Fairfield County has been charged with shooting another teen during a dispute. The incident took place on Sunday, Feb. 13, when officers responded to a 911 call of someone shot in the rear of commercial property on Hope Street in Stamford. Upon arrival of the responding units, all people involved had fled the scene, including a single male victim who police had later learned was shot in the buttocks, according to Lt.
