CT Man Struck, Killed By Hit-Run Driver, Police Say
A 34-year-old Connecticut man was hit and killed by a hit-and-run driver along a busy city street. The crash took place in Hartford around 11:30 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 5 in the area of Hamilton Street, just east of Hillside Avenue. A Connecticut bicyclist was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver. The crash took place in New London County around 10:45 p.m., Monday, March 6 in the village of Pawcatuck in Stonington. Stonington Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle versus a cyclist accident in the area of 210 South Broad St. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a cyclist, identified as Gary F. Police Searching For Car In East Hartford Fatal Hit-Run
Police are searching for a silver car after a man was hit and killed by a hit-and-run driver in East Hartford. The victim was discovered when police responded to the intersection of Main and Pitkin streets in East Hartford around 9:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18, said Officer Marc Caruso, of the East Hartford Police. Police found the man laying in the intersection with severe injuries. The East Hartford Fire Department was also on the scene and immediately initiated lifesaving measures, Caruso said.
