Car Wash Employee Run Over By Customer In Greenwich A car wash employee suffered serious injuries after being run over by a customer in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Greenwich at the Splash Car Wash at 73 Post Road around 10:20 a.m., on Monday, July 10. An initial investigation determined that an employee of the car wash was struck by a vehicle exiting the wash. Kennedy, age 47, of Stamford, was killed around 1:45 a.m., Friday, June 30 on I-95 after drifting out of his lane and eventually hitting another car head-on, said the Connecticut State Police.  According to Stamford Police Assistant Chief Richard Conklin, Kennedy was a 911 dispatcher who has worked with the city since October 2005. Fairfield County resident Kurt Hothorn Jr., of Greenwich, died at Greenwich Hospital on Friday, Sept. 23, according to his obituary. Covid-19: Hospital System In Connecticut Requiring Patients, Visitors Show Proof Of Vaccination One of Connecticut’s largest hospital systems is changing its visiting policy due to the steep rise of newly reported COVID-19 infections. Yale New Haven Health announced on Wednesday, Dec. 22 that visitors to admitted patients in all its hospitals will have to show proof of being fully vaccinated or a negative PCR test, or else be turned away at the door.
