Bridgeport 3-Year-Old ID'd As Drowning Victim
A 3-year-old Fairfield County child has been identified as the victim of a drowning in a backyard kiddie pool. Related: Infant Drowns At Bridgeport Home The incident occurred in Bridgeport around 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, at a home on the city's west side. According to Tiadora Josef, spokeswoman for the Bridgeport Police, the child was found unresponsive in a small 3-foot children's pool. Screams echoed through Downtown Hartford Friday evening after at least one person was apparently struck by a car, witnesses say. Two Students Injured During Fairfield County School Bus Crash, Police Say
Two schoolchildren were hospitalized following a school bus crash which also injured the driver in Fairfield County. It happened just after 3 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 9 in the Town of Fairfield on Mountain Laurel road near Stroll Rock Common, First responders reported the school bus struck a tree and the bus was transporting four Fairfield School children at the time of the collision, said Fairfield PD Lt.
