Man Nabbed With Loaded Gun During Packed Stamford Fireworks Display, Police Say A man was nabbed on the beach during a packed fireworks display after police received a tip through the CrimeStoppers gun program in Fairfield County. Justin Ramos, age 27, of Stamford, was arrested around 7 p.m. on Friday, July 7 at Cummings Beach with a loaded gun in his backpack, said Stamford Assistant Police Chief Richard Conklin. Conklin said members of the Narcotics and Organized Crime unit received the tips shortly before the event was scheduled to begin. Fairfield County Duo Charged In Overnight Burglaries, Police Say Two Fairfield County men were charged in connection with two overnight burglaries. The incidents took place in Norwalk on Thursday, Nov. 3 in the area of Kermit Street and Rome Street. According to Lt. Joe Dinho, of the Norwalk Police, the department received a call around 7:15 a.m., Thursday, of a residential burglary on Kermit Street that took place in the overnight hours. 14 Vehicles Entered, Loaded Handgun Stolen In CT Town, Police Say Police in a Connecticut town are alerting residents after more than a dozen vehicles were illegally entered, and several items were stolen, including a loaded handgun. The Wolcott Police Department in New Haven County reported on Monday, Feb. 7, that 14 vehicles were entered by a group of young people over the past weekend.
