NJ Man Committed Marriage Fraud To Obtain Permanent Residence: Feds
A 25-year-old Cherry Hill man was recently charged with marriage fraud after he and his wife entered into a sham agreement so he could obtain permanent residence, authorities said. Elvis Harizaj is also charged with making false statements on forms submitted to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) along with his wife, Natasha Flores, a 27-year-old Newark resident, U.S. Attorney Alina Habba said. Three men have been indicted in connection with the beating death of notorious Boston crime boss James "White" Bulger, the US Attorney’s Office of the Northern District of West Virginia reports. A former Harvard University department chair has been found guilty of charges in connection with lying to federal authorities about his ties to China and failing to report income he received from a university in China.
