Fatal Crash: 20-Year-Old Driver Strikes Utility Pole On CT Roadway Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that left a 20-year-old Connecticut resident dead. It happened just after 1:30 a.m. Saturday, May 27 in East Haven. A vehicle was traveling west on Foxon Road in the area of Circle Drive crossed over the double-yellow lines and struck a utility pole on the south side of Foxon Road, East Haven Police said.  The vehicle came to rest in the westbound lane.  The operator was given medical attention on the scene by East Haven Fire Department personnel and was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital where he was pronounced dead. …

New Haven County resident Dustin Cecarelli, of North Branford, was found by East Haven Police around 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, May 23 at Tuttle Elementary School, said East Haven Police Capt. The incident took place in New Haven County around 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, May 23 at Tuttle Elementary School in East Haven. Capt. Joseph Murgo, of the East Haven Police, said officers were dispatched to the school for a report of a fight between several individuals. Only Two Employees Of CT Assisted Living Facility Overdose On Job, Police Say The only two employees on duty at an assisted living center in Connecticut both overdosed on fentanyl, leaving the patients without any help or supervision. The incident took place around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 22, when the East Haven Police received a 911 call from a visiting nurse at the Caroline Manor Assisted Living facility reported a possible overdose of two employees.
