The body of a 38-year-old Hudson Valley man who went missing after the small fishing boat he was in sank in the waters of the Long Island Sound off the coast of Fairfield County has been found. The incident began in Westport about 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22 when a boater traveling in the area of Cockenoe Island found a man standing on a navigational buoy, Lt. 34-Year-Old Woman Found Dead Inside Vehicle In Fairfield County
An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in a running car in Fairfield County. Police responded to a report of a person lying in the backseat of a running car in Westport in the parking lot of 40 Jesup Road at about 8:40 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, according to the Westport Police Department. Officers determined that the occupant was not responsive, police said. EMS attempted lifesaving efforts, but the woman was pronounced dead, authorities said. The ex-boyfriend of a 24-year-old Westchester woman whose body was found dead in a suitcase in Connecticut has been sentenced to decades behind bars for his role in her 2019 kidnapping. Body Found In CT Pond
Police are investigating after a body was found in a Connecticut pond. The body of a man was found after Hartford Police received information regarding a body floating in a pond at Bushnell Park around 7:30 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 12. When officers arrived at the park they retrieved the man's body, said Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police.
