Friends Remember Man Killed In New London Crash: 'You Were Finally In A Good Place' A 33-year-old Connecticut man was ID'd as the victim of a fatal crash that sent 4 people to the hospital over the weekend in New London County, authorities said.  Jason Poirier was involved in a two-car crash at the Colman Street and Broad Street intersection in New London on Saturday, Oct. 26, just before midnight, police said.  The New London man was one of four people rushed to hospitals, but Poirier succumbed to his injuries at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital on Monday, Oct. 28. Woman Killed In Crash After Hitting Debris At CT Construction Site, Police Say A Connecticut woman was killed after hitting a curbing, fencing, and a dirt pile at a construction site. The single-car crash took place in New London County around 2:50 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 29 in the area of Colman and Vauxhall streets. When officers arrived on the scene they found Margaret Larsen, age 61, of Waterford, unresponsive, in a Honda Accord, said Capt. Matthew Galante, of the New London Police. ID Released For CT Man Found Shot Dead On Roadway Police have released the identity of a Connecticut man found shot dead on a city street. Abdiel Rodriguez, age 25, was found around 10:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 5 in the city of New London, in the area of Colman Street and West Pleasant Street. Upon arriving on the scene, officers located and treated Rodriguez who had sustained life-threatening injuries, Capt. Matthew Galante, of the New London Police, said.
