Man Charged With Manslaughter In CT Crash That Killed 60-Year-Old Man, Police Say
A Western Massachusetts man was charged with manslaughter in a crash that killed a 60-year-old man in Connecticut last year.
Hampden County resident Dominic Grassetti, age 25, of Southwick, turned himself in to police on Monday, Oct. 3, Connecticut State Police reported.
He was charged with second-degree manslaughter in the two-vehicle crash that killed Fernando Lebron, of Chicopee, Massachusetts, on I-91 in Enfield on Nov. 12, 2021, police said.
Police said the crash happened at about 12:40 a.m. near the Exit 48 off-ramp.

51-Year-Old Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Car On CT Roadway
A 51-year-old man was hospitalized with serious injuries after a car struck him in Connecticut.
The crash happened in the Hartford County town of East Granby on Rainbow Road eastbound near Larch Drive at 9:15 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, Connecticut State Police said.
A 2010 Hyundai Elantra struck the man, who is a resident of Saint Lucie, Florida, while he was walking across the travel portion of the roadway, police reported.
The driver, a 26-year-old woman from Westerly, Rhode Island, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, according to the report.

CT Man Found Dead In Crashed Car From Gunshot Wound, Police Say
A Connecticut man died after he was shot while driving a car and crashed.
The incident took place in Hartford around 1 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 13 on Hillside Avenue.
The victim, identified as Jose Arriaga, age 28, of Hartford, was discovered when officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert, said Lt. Aaron Boisvert, of the Hartford Police.
A report of a crash near 386 Hillside Avenue came in while officers were responding, Boisvert said. Once on the scene, officers found Arriaga in the crashed vehicle.
Arriaga was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Driver, Passenger Injured In Wrong-Way Crash On I-95 In CT
Two women were injured in a wrong-way crash in Connecticut.
The crash happened on northbound I-95 in New Haven near Exit 50 at about 2:10 a.m. on Thursday, July 28, according to Connecticut State Police.
A 2013 Honda CR-V LX was going the wrong way, traveling south in the northbound lanes, and collided head-on with a northbound 2005 Kenworth truck, police said.
The 20-year-old Terryville woman who drove the Honda and her passenger, a 19-year-old New Haven woman, were hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
